Narrow Console Table, 15cm Deep, on Hairpin Legs
A console table only 15cm deep: a 32mm solid Scandinavian pine top on slim steel hairpin legs, made to order in our Derbyshire workshop. That depth is the point. It takes keys, post, a lamp and a plant without narrowing a hallway you still have to walk down, and it slots in where a standard console won't: along a narrow hall, over a radiator, or behind the sofa.
Choose any length from 60cm to 200cm in 10cm steps, and one of two heights. At 75cm it sits at standard hallway height. At 90cm it clears most radiators and the back of most sofas, which is why it's the height most of our customers choose.

Finishes and legs
The top is finished by hand in hard wax oil, in the same four colours as our dining tables: Clear keeps the pale, natural pine; Walnut finish is a deep brown; Smoked Oak finish is a medium oak colour; Belgian Grey is a soft grey with the grain showing through. Every top is cut and sanded by hand, so the grain and knots differ from table to table.
The legs are genuine Hairpin Leg Co legs, powder coated, with colour-matched floor protectors. Choose Black, White, Clear, Copper or Brass from the Legs Colour menu. 90cm tables have three-prong legs for extra rigidity at that height; 75cm tables can have two- or three-prong legs, so just tell us your preference in the order notes.
No wall fixings
A hidden Velcro tab on the back of the top holds the table to the wall. Push it back into place and it stays put: no drilling, no screws and no marks on the wall.
Delivery and assembly
Made in our Derbyshire workshop and dispatched in 2β3 working days, flat-packed by DPD, with free UK mainland delivery. The legs fix to the top with four screws each into pre-drilled holes, so all you need is a screwdriver and a few minutes.
Questions we get asked
Will it go over a radiator?
Usually, yes. Choose the 90cm height and a length a little longer than the radiator, so the legs sit either side of it. Measure the radiator's height and width, including the valves, before you order.
Will it fit behind my sofa?
At 15cm deep it needs only a small gap between the sofa and the wall. Measure the height of the sofa back and pick the height that sits just above it: 75cm or 90cm.
How does it stay steady without fixing it to the wall?
The hidden Velcro tab on the back holds the top against the wall, so it stays put. It doesn't need screws or plugs and won't damage the wall.
Is it solid wood?
Yes. The top is 32mm solid Scandinavian pine all the way through: no veneer, MDF or chipboard.
How do I look after it?
Wipe it with a damp cloth. Because the finish is hard wax oil, a scratch or mark can be lightly sanded and re-oiled on the spot.
