Thank you for choosing Timber Foundry! We are proud to offer a free fully tracked delivery service on all products (excluding Highlands, Aberdeenshire, or any offshore Island). Please contact us for a quotation to these areas. Below you'll find important details regarding our shipping process and delivery guidelines.
Shipping Methods:
- Items Under 1.2m Long: Planters and smaller items under 1.2 metres in length will be shipped using a standard 1-person courier service (DPD, DHL, or Evri).
- Items Over 1.2m Long: Larger planters and products exceeding 1.2 metres will be delivered using Proovia Couriers, offering a dedicated 2-person delivery service.
Order Processing and Lead Times:
- Lead times displayed on our product listings refer strictly to working days (Monday to Friday).
- If your order is placed after working hours or on weekends (Saturday or Sunday), your order's processing will begin on the following Monday.
Example: An order placed on a Friday will have its first working day counted from the following Monday.
Delivery Times and Locations:
- Delivery durations vary depending on your location. Please note that deliveries to Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, and Devon generally take an additional 2 working days due to courier routing schedules.
Specific Delivery Dates:
- We are happy to accommodate specific delivery date requests. Please contact us before placing your order if you require delivery on a particular date, and we will do our best to arrange this for you.

What are your lead times?
- Lead times are visible at the top of each product listings and refer strictly to working days (Monday to Friday).
- If your order is placed after working hours or on weekends (Saturday or Sunday), your order's processing will begin on the following Monday.
Example: An order placed on a Friday will have its first working day counted from the following Monday.
What happens from order to dispatch?
You will receive a order confirmation immediately after purchase (if not received please check junk folder). We will then get to work and book in your product with one of our partners (DPD/DHL/EVRI for anything under 1.2m or PROOVIA Couriers’ for anything over. You will receive a separate email confirming this and 24 hours prior to delivery a 3-hour time slot. This will need confirming via the link they provide, where you can also choose to delay, leave in a safe place or with a neighbour. On the day live tracking will be sent to your email and telephone number.
What if my goods arrived damaged?
Please inform us within 24 hours of delivery if your items are damaged along with images that can be sent to info@timber-foundry.com We will then arrange collection. Once received we will inspect the product and if deemed faulty / damaged arrange either an exchange or full refund.
Can I return my order?
Absolutely! If you'd like to return your order, simply let us know via email within 15 days of receiving it. Please make sure that all items are returned in their original, unused, and dry condition, carefully wrapped in the original packaging.
We'll happily arrange a convenient collection date to pick up the items from you.
Because many of our products are quite large and heavy, shipping them can become costly. As a small business, we work tirelessly to provide free UK delivery for all our customers, but unfortunately, this means we’re unable to offer free returns. We’ll always be transparent about these costs, and we'll confirm the exact return shipping charges by email, as these vary depending on your location and courier availability.

Can I return bespoke goods?
Because bespoke products are custom-made to your exact specifications, including standard products that we've resized specifically for you, we’re unfortunately unable to accept returns on these items. We carefully craft each bespoke order just for you, so please ensure measurements and details are correct before ordering.

Access to property
