At Timber Foundry we believe in quality, responsibility, and transparency. All our pieces are handcrafted by us from our workshop in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales. We make everything that comes with the product even down to the handles! Nothing is imported or outsourced which is why we are so confident in our brand and offer a lifetime guarantee. Our founding principle was to fight the ‘fast throwaway’ culture that has spread through society under the guise of price and convenience. That’s why we design timeless pieces that can be handed down to the next generation. Don’t settle for a product that will last ‘a few years’ invest in something that has been meticulously handcrafted using reclaimed or certified FSC materials using traditional carpentry techniques.

Terms of Guarantee

To helps understand the terms of our guarantee it’s important to read the below.

Our guarantee covers manufacturing faults only. Normal wear and tear such as burns, scratches, scuffs and dents following delivery are not covered. misuse and wilful neglect

If you alter, modify or repair the item of furniture yourself the Guarantee is no longer valid. Unless these alterations, modifications, or repairs are advised by Timber Foundry Ltd’s representatives.

If you dismantle the item of furniture for any reason the Guarantee is no longer valid.

Commercial use is not covered under the guarantee unless terms are arranged prior to manufacture.

Our guarantee is only covered for the original purchaser and a receipt with order confirmation email will be required as proof of purchase.

Our handmade reclaimed products often have imperfections such as knots, cracks, saw marks etc. These are not classed as faults and as such not covered by the guarantee.

Any solid wood furniture can display minor shrinking and expanding particularly during the early stages of acclimatisation in its new home. This may also happen during the changing of seasons. These minor changes are normal for real wood and are not covered under our guarantee.

If the furniture is located in a climate not suitable for real timber such as a very hot, cold, damp or wet environment it will not be covered by the guarantee. Real wood furniture should be kept at a moderate temperature and humidity.
