American Black Walnut Dining Table for 12
A dining table for 10 to 12 people with a 45mm American Black Walnut top measuring 240 x 98 x 77cm, on angled steel legs forged in the UK. Walnut at this width is a single run of dark chocolate grain with paler sapwood at the edges, which is why the finish is a satin oil rather than a varnish β oil sits in the timber instead of on top of it and keeps the depth of the colour.
The legs are angled and set in from the ends, so twelve chairs go round it without anyone straddling a leg. At 98cm deep there is room for serving dishes down the centre with place settings either side.
Made to order in our Derbyshire workshop. Add one or two matching walnut benches if you want to seat more at the sides.
