Round Solid Pine Coffee Table with Hairpin Legs
A round coffee table with a 32mm solid Scandinavian pine top on powder-coated steel hairpin legs. Three diameters β 50cm, 70cm and 100cm β all standing 39cm high, which sits just under the seat height of most sofas so you can reach a mug without leaning forward. The 50cm works as a side table beside an armchair; the 100cm is the one to pick if the table has to hold a tray, books and a laptop at once.
The top is solid timber all the way through, not a veneer skin over board. It matters more than it sounds: a veneered top is finished once at the factory and that is the end of it, whereas this one can be sanded back and re-oiled in ten years and look new again.
Six wood colours, each hand-applied in our workshop in Derbyshire. The hairpin legs come with colour-matched floor protectors fitted, so nothing marks a wooden floor when the table gets pushed about.
