A log store should outlast the logs you put in it - by decades. Ours is built the way we build all our garden furniture: a solid, braced timber frame, proper overlap cladding, and tanalised pressure-treated timber throughout, backed by our 15-year guarantee against rot.
Everything about the design is there to get your firewood dry and keep it dry. The raised slatted floor lifts logs off the wet ground and lets air rise through the stack. The roof slopes down to the front and overhangs, so rain runs off clear of the stack. Overlap-clad sides shelter the stack from driven rain without sealing it in - because airflow, not airtightness, is what seasons firewood.
Two roofs to choose from. Our standard slatted timber roof ventilates the stack from above. Or, for Β£50 more, choose the slate-tiled roof: grey fibre cement slate tiles that give it the look of a traditional slate roof and sit beautifully against a stone cottage or brick house. Same frame, same sizes, same 15-year guarantee against rot.
Three sizes, one build quality. The 1500mm wide option swallows more than a full bulk bag of logs; the Small tucks neatly beside a back door for everyday burning. All three share the same depth and height, so they sit as a matching pair or trio if your winters demand it. Every store is made to order in our workshop and ready in 3-4 working days. Choose fully assembled - it arrives ready to fill - or flat-packed with pre-drilled parts, fixings and plain-English instructions for a straightforward self-build. Both roofs are available either way.
