Not every wall has room for a full-height log store. This low log store stands just 900mm tall, so it tucks under a ground-floor window without blocking the light or the view, and keeps your firewood dry and close to the back door all winter.

It's built exactly like our Curbar heavy-duty log store: a solid, braced timber frame, overlap-clad sides and tanalised pressure-treated timber throughout, backed by our 15-year guarantee against rot. The raised slatted floor lifts logs off wet ground, and the slatted back and open front let air move through the stack - because airflow, not airtightness, is what seasons firewood. The roof slopes down to the front and overhangs, so rain runs off clear of the logs and away from your wall.

Two roofs to choose from. Grey fibre cement slate tiles give it the look of a traditional slate roof and sit beautifully against a stone cottage or brick house. Or choose our slatted timber roof, which ventilates the stack from above. Same frame, same sizes, same 15-year guarantee.

Four widths: 4ft (1200mm), 5ft (1500mm), 2m (just over 6½ft, pictured) and 8ft (2400mm). The 2m and 8ft are split into two bays, so you can keep this winter's logs apart from next winter's. Every store is made to order in our Derbyshire workshop, ready in 3-4 working days and comes with free UK mainland delivery, fully assembled and ready to fill, or flat-packed with pre-drilled parts, fixings and plain-English instructions.

Before you order, measure from the ground to the underside of your windowsill. If you need it lower, narrower or wider, we'll build it to fit.

Why Froggatt? We name our pieces after places in the Peak District we love.
