Hairpin Leg Desk — 32mm Solid Pine

A solid Scandinavian pine desk with a 32mm top, on hairpin legs from The Hairpin Leg Co. It is the lightest desk we make and the easiest to place — slim enough for a bedroom or landing, but solid timber all the way through rather than veneer over chipboard.

We plane, joint and finish each top by hand in Derbyshire. The legs are powder coated steel from The Hairpin Leg Co, a supplier we buy from because their welds and coating hold up; underneath, a steel support runs across the top to keep it flat and take the weight of a monitor arm. Floor protectors are colour-matched to the legs.
