The brief
The Hoste was relaunching and wanted tables for the front of the pub that would hold their own against a 17th-century building: solid, heavy, oak, and all delivered together for opening.
What we made
Eight tables and sixteen benches in kiln-dried European oak, the same chunky proportions as our pine garden tables but in a timber that will silver beautifully and shrug off a Norfolk winter. Everything was made in Derbyshire and delivered as one job.
The day
It rained all day. The tables didn't mind. They're outside The Hoste now, which is the only photo we got before we went for a pint.
From the shop
Standard pieces that do the same job, made to order in the same workshop.
