This Yew timber was felled and sourced locally in Wirksworth, Derbyshire 5 years ago following a storm in a locals back garden!

Yew wood is known for its distinctive grain patterns, with white sap and purple spots. It's also a hardwood so very durable. This particular piece also carries 'pippy' areas which is extremely sought after for the unique character.
