Every shelf in this bookcase was once a floorboard or a beam in a Derbyshire mill. We salvage the timber locally, plane it back, joint it and finish it by hand in our workshop a few miles from where it came from — so the nail holes, saw marks and colour variation you can see are a hundred years of use, not a factory effect.

That means no two of these are identical. The one you receive will have its own grain, its own marks and its own history.

180cm tall and only 44cm wide, on a UK-forged steel frame — designed for the awkward narrow wall where a normal bookcase won't go: beside a chimney breast, in a hallway, or in the gap next to a doorway.

If you wish to return your items, you must contact us within 15 days of purchase. If the goods require collection, we will collect them from the address to which they were delivered. However due to the size and weight of our products you will be charged a collection fee for returning unwanted products that are not faulty or damaged.
